Description:
A pulmonary medicine consultation will be a meeting with a pulmonologist to discuss conditions or symptoms you are having relating to breathing, such as shortness of breath, asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, cystic fibrosis, lung cancer, occupational lung disease, pulmonary hypertension, tuberculosis, or sever acute respirator syndrome. During the consultation, the pulmonologist will go over your medical records with you and develop a treatment plan or order further testing to diagnose your condition.
